![]() ![]() Ore Processing Mekanism features an extremely advanced, extensive ore processing system. I like to think of this as one of Mekanism’s best features. IC2 and TE recipes are implemented in my respective machines, and just about everything else will work as well. Whether you are powering my machinery with EU, RF, MJ or whatever it is, they will work. While Mekanism will run just fine alone, I have spent so very long adding in integration to make Mekanism seem like it blends in perfectly when you have other mods installed. Features:Ĭompatibility Compatibility comes first. You can upgrade tiers by placing the component in a crafting grid and surrounding it with the necessary resources for the next upgrade.īy the time you’ve been using Mekanism for a while, you’ll have a near-instructible suit of Obsidian Armor, be obtaining four ingots for each ore you mine, have the ability to fly wherever you want with the hydrogen-powered jetpacks, and have a cute robotic friend following you around while you mine. There are four tiers: basic, the simplest tier, advanced, the second-most basic tier, elite, the second-most complex tier, and ultimate, the most complex tier. Mekanism uses a tier-based system when organizing several of its core features, including Energy Cubes and Factories. However, I can assure you that you’ll notice all the content blend together as you get to know the mod better! The mod doesn’t have an actual goal, and you’ll understand this when you see all the random content Mekanism contains, from jetpacks to balloons. Mekanism is an independent tech mod that brings low, mid, and high tier machinery to Minecraft. It includes many different methods of energy generation, a method of doubling to quintupling ore output, a different method of making Steel, a very slight bit of magic, and several new tools. This setup will leave 1 side free to insert or extract the fission rod and it is so safe it can do without a thermometer.Mekanism Mod (1.19.2, 1.18.2) is a mod that provides several machines, some similar to IndustrialCraft2 machines, that can use various types of power such as RF, EU or Universal Electricity. The control rods should be placed adjacent to the reactor. With 3 active control rods the reactor will not consume the fission rod, with 2 it does very slowly. ![]() When you want to stop the reactor activate the other 2 control rods. A reactor controlled with 1 rod will operate steadily at +/- 1800 degrees Celsius, without a control rod it will overheat. To avoid this you can set your Thermometer to have a warning at 1800/1900°c, which will emit a redstone pulse that could be used to activate a Sticky Piston, which would then push a Control Rod, and in turn, decrease the temperature of the reactor.Ī better single reactor setup is to use 3 control rods, 2 operated by sticky pistons and levers and 1 control rod always active. It wil also destroy several surrounding blocks and convert several of them into Radioactive Material. If the temperature in the reactor reaches 2000°c, the reactor will explode leaving a lava source block where the reactor used to be, which will instantly be converted into obsidian because of the water, if you didn't forget to put it in. ![]() This lasts for 60 seconds and will damage the mob/player until it dies, or until the effect wears off. To place a Fissile Fuel Rod in the reactor, right click the reactor with the rod in your hand. The reactor can also give any nearby mobs or players without Hazmat Suit radiation poisoning. The steam can be utilized by a turbines to generate electricity, which is then sent out through your copper wires. The reaction will heat up nearby water blocks(which don't necessarily have to be source blocks) and start turning them into steam.
